Honey Crunch Pecan Pie

This is the best pecan pie in the world! It's not Thanksgiving or Christmas at our house without it! (Originally shared in the Durham 1st Ward Cookbook.)

Ingredients

• pie shell
• 4 eggs, slightly beaten
• 1 c. light corn syrup
• 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
• 1 Tbsp. Bourbon
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 c. chopped pecans
• 1/2 c: packed brown sugar
• 3 Tbsp. Butter
• 3 Tbsp. Honey
• 1 1/2 c. pecan halves

Instructions

1. Prepare pie shell, set aside. In large bowl, combine eggs and next 7 ingredients, mix well. Fold in chopped pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 350°F oven 50 to 55 minutes. During last 30 minutes of baking, cover edge of pastry with foil to prevent overbrowning. Meanwhile, in 2 quart
